Borderland

(via owl vs dove)
Karla Spetic seems to just get better and better. Her AW 2011 collection, Boderland, is a mix of bright pastel colours and suburban prints. There are four different prints used on her structured garments and the one piece I'm particularly dying to own is the skirt featuring "The Front Porch". Generally darker colours are synonymous with winter but this year I'm opting out for some pastel inspiration from this stunning collection instead. Bring on a suburban printed box jacket teamed with dusty rose tailored trousers please.

Lucia

My new sunglasses arrived a few days ago and I literally haven't had the chance to wear them because I've rarely left the house. I've been incredibly busy trying to earn any money so that I can stay afloat for a little while. To check out some of what I've been up to you can head over to my other blog (don't judge the header, it's still under construction). Back on topic though, I now really do wish that I'd been able to afford the transparent forest green pair. As I've thought about winter (our weather has been fairly cold for a summer), I've found myself looking for green hues in just about every accessory and item of clothing. Fingers crossed I have enough self control until I get a job, because my last $10 won't get me too far for now.

Selling

I'm selling a pair of my vintage boots that I was never able to fit into. I wish that I had much smaller feet so that I'd be able to wear them but unfortunately they're multiple sizes too small. If you live in Australia then you lucky kids will be able to bid on them. You can find them here.

I'd love a cropped cut like hers but after years of growing my hair to unhealthy lengths, I would be too afraid to loose it all.

Rag & Bone

For their new campaign, Rag & Bone decided to hand over the clothing and cameras to the models, and let them do all the work. As expected, the result is much more personal than usual and in my opinion, more interesting. I mean, how often do we really get to see Abbey Lee shave her legs? This is by far one of my favourite campaigns, not because it looks good, but because the idea is so different and new.
