Spitfire

My Spitfire sunglasses with removable shades arrived! I have never been more content with an online purchase, these glasses are quite unique. A lot of people have seen these glasses and become slightly confused as to how they work and I love watching their faces as they recognise the fact that they're removable.
I don't even care that it's not even Summer yet in our hemisphere, I've been wearing these almost every day. I even wear these babies on the train, especially during my early mornings because I like to think that people can't tell I'm actually sleeping. The fact that I'm probably talking during my sleep probably gives me away though..

Lacking In Updates..

I apologise for my complete and utter laziness, I know I haven't posted anything in a while. To keep you guys informed, I'm currently studying Uni full time (as you may know) and now on top of that I now have a job working a minimum of 20 hours a week. This has proved to be slightly difficult, but in the end rewarding as I can actually afford a few little luxuries. Just recently, I purchased another item from Staple, a black draped skirt, which manages to work with almost everything. It sits beautifully on the waist and when things are tucked in underneath, it creates a more formal look. When I'm feeling more casual (which is almost every day), I simply just throw on a shirt and leave it hanging out for a slouchy yet feminine approach. As well as that, I also purchased a simple singlet from Agent 99 at General Pants Co, in the same style as the one pictured below however mine is a rust colour. It was also a mere $20 because they're currently 2 for $40, and I was fortunate enough to be with a friend who decided she'd like one too.
As well as my super comfortable singlet (I swear I feel like I'm wearing pyjamas, it's that good), I recently bought a Contrast Trim Button-Down shirt from Urban Outfitters in an Oxford Blue colour. I unfortunately have no pictures of the shirt because it has sold out, but when it does arrive I'll be sure to take pictures of it for you guys. I won't ruin the surprise of the shirt, but I will quickly say that there is an element that if it wasn't there, I probably wouldn't have purchased the shirt.
After all that, I will leave you lovlies with some of the new stuff in at Pixie Market. I'm particularly loving the soft, muted tones.
For nights though, I'm feeling quite excited for the sheer (especially in this skirt), as well as the bold, red wine colours.
Also, really quick side note: I'm looking for a luxurious lipstick in a deep red wine colour so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Sorry for this ridiculously long and possibly pointless post.

Bring On Summer

I am so ready for summer that it's not even funny. There'a a burning desire in me to bring back on the heat. A HOT, PASSIONATE DESIRE. Ok, enough of my crazed thoughts and onto the looks that I'm very keen on. Firstly, khaki. Need I really say much more? Yesterday I even treated myself to a new khaki coloured shirt featuring a little bit of black (I feel kind of naked without black) by the brand Staple. I would post a picture, but sadly their website doesn't include the shirt yet. Another key word, blush. There was the most beautiful shirt (again, by the brand Staple) that I so very nearly purchased yesterday, in a stunning, faded pink colour. Sadly, the fact that I get paid fortnightly meant that I'll just have to wait a little bit longer.
The jeans that I'm longing for at the moment, are by St&rd Jean Co. They're a relaxed, slouchy, boyfriend fit that I'm looking forward to trying on.
I'm hoping that this picture of the jeans says more than I could every say about them. Another item that I know I will be finding in my hot little hands, is the nail colour 'Vendetta' by Chanel. It does scream "WINTER!" just a little bit to me, so of course I have to be careful what I team it with.
I've been looking for a pair of shorts that won't make me look like I'm wearing the shortest shorts that are known to man, for a very very long time. So far, I haven't succeeded due to the fact that my legs are slightly longer than the average human. I'm hoping that I'll be able to eat my own words when I check out these gorgeous shorts by Witchery, in person. The high waist and pleating make me a drool a little bit, and the light, muted tone mean I could wear them with almost anything.

The only downside to these shorts (that I know of so far), is that they're made from 100% linen, which means that I'll have to seriously step up my ironing skills.
That's something I have a whole month to work on, seeming as Spring doesn't start for at least another 26 days. Not that I'm counting or anything...
