Topshop SS11

(via Columbine Smille)
So it's around about now that we all need to start saving for the launch of the Spring/Summer line. Too bad it'll be Winter over here though. I'm sorry for not posting much in the last few days, I was away over Christmas and then had some birthday celebrations to attend. I don't feel like I'm nineteen, that just seems like a different person to me. If that makes any sense at all?

One Foxy Lady

(via purse 'n boots)
The title of the post sums up this blogger so there's probably not all that much more that I can say. I will however, suggest that you start following her immediately so you can drool over her amazing style and envious collection of jewellery.

Christmas & Birthday Wish List

Collina Strada US$350
Tala Tank Top US$70

Jeffrey Campbell Nation H US$199.95
Frankie Magazine Subscription AU$57
Noemi Klein Branch Ring US$121
Something Else Dress AU$90
Insight Boyfriend Blues Short AU$99.95
Gilgamesh by Gypsy & The Cat AU$14.99
Nasty Gal Gold Dust Blouse US$58
American Apparel Ankle Socks AU$14
Multi Super Stasher US$130
Need Supply Co. Cropped Sweater US$48
Yes, you read that correctly, my Birthday is around Christmas. All the more for me, right? Wrong. So very, very wrong. Also, considering this is only a "wish" list, the chance of me receiving any of these items is about as likely as Sydney's summer actually acting like a real summer should. Which means that it's looking fairly grave for me at the moment. If any of my family members or friends are reading this right now, hint, cough, hint. On an unrelated side note, hint is a very strange word.

Pyramid

(via 5inchanup)
All of these pieces are surprisingly available at Urban Outfitters. I'm shocked because I'd assumed that they'd come from a site like Need Supply Co. however, I was very wrong. Whether they're online is still unknown (literally searching as I type this now), but they're certainly in stores now.

One Teaspoon

(via sassybella)
So for those of you who haven't heard, One Teaspoon will be opening up a new shop this Friday (17th of December) in the new Westfield Sydney. Even better than that will be the concept store they're basing in Surry Hills, on the corner of Crown and Devonshire streets. The concept store will have custom leopard carpet, a skeleton garden courtyard as well as Vintage Cocktail dress library. The library will allow you to hire the dresses sourced from all over the world, pretty impressive huh? Get very excited people!

Hunter Valley

Grey Top -  Agent 99, Maxi Skirt - Studio Ten Clothing, Black Boots - Rubi, Necklace - Tree of Life & Bracelet - Ebay
Yesterday I spent the day visiting family out in a few of the country towns where I spent most of my time growing up. Throughout the majority of the day we picked fresh fruit straight from the tree, strolled through olive groves, robbed bees of their honey, took the 4WD out into the dam and sat on the verandah drinking endless cups of tea. Rather than taking the usual roads like everyone else, we instead took a few detours and ended up at these abandoned train tracks (pictured first). I wanted to follow them all the way down but I knew that would take hours so instead we travelled on and later on stumbled across a genuine milk bar. After eating some seriously good hamburgers there, we headed back to Sydney, only to be greeted with a fairly lovely sunset.

Finders Keepers

These are just some of the few (yes there were many, many more) pictures that I took whilst at the Finders Keepers Markets in Sydney last Friday. If you've never heard of the event before, it's basically a dream world filled with the most delicate and beautiful handmade/vintage jewellery, clothing, art, stationery, home furnishings, etc, etc. The place is always swarming with people trying to find that perfect item and for me it was my Frankie Magazine Daily Journal for 2011. Sadly it's not pictured here, I was a little bit busy being distracted by my surreal surroundings, but don't fret because I will post it up soon.
