Karla Spetic's SS10-11 collection titled 'Centre' is now available online at frockshop.com with prices ranging from AU$350-$1,100. The item lusting after is the Journey Road Print Tee which conveniently happens to be the most affordable. Pastels are definitely on trend right now (check another post on pastels here) so finding yourself a staple piece for the trend is a good start. I'd suggest finding a structured blazer or even a nice pair of chinos in a light, flowing fabric to balance out your outfit.

Sofa
(via inside am-lul's closet)
These pictures are just a sneak peek of a shoot with Gala Gonzalez from when she was in Sydney a few days ago. I absolutely adore the feel of this shoot as well as the post processing used. While I wait in anticipation for the other images, I may as well start searching for a sofa/lounge chair that's as amazing as the one used here.

Lux Mundi
Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper Vintage has made me a very happy girl with her new collection available on the (also new) online store today, so grab your credit cards and head on over there before it all goes. If I were employed or even on the dole, I would wipe the store clean of any remaining goodies but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), I'm not. For those of you not in Australia, fear not because the lovely Nicole is happy to ship the items internationally.
Side note: I'd like to apologise for my lack of posting recently, my internet has decided it no longer wants to do its job so loading pages has taken at least five minutes (and that's not even including images). I'm hopefully upgrading soon, so fingers crossed!

Rose
Left to right, top to bottom - Michael Kors watch, House of Harlow 1960 cuff, Maison Martin Margiela cuff, Elena shield ring, Maison Martin Margiela set of four rings, Max and Chloe crocodile cuff, Dominic Jones cage ring and Dominic Jones claw ring
Rose gold is making it's way back in so be sure to find yourself a lovely piece of it. My suggestion would be a singular ring or cuff in the stunning material because it can be known to be expensive and you don't want to overdo the look anyway. A hint to get you started: Go check out the Bec and Bridge website and search their latest collection. There you can find the Orbit Ring, Cluster Ring and Amorphous Ring (not pictured above) which you can purchase in rose gold, for an affordable price too!

Mineral
Oil on masonite by Carly Waito
This is a post that's a little bit different to usual but could you not just imagine these gorgeous paintings as fabric prints? I know It'd be hard to convince me to not spend my money on a tank featuring one of these images. For the time being, a few of these are going straight up onto my inspiration board.

Pretty in Pastels
(via on the streets of sydney)
I am extremely glad/joyous/happy/excited that Summer is here (even if it doesn't seem to be acting like one) because we all know that summer means bright, gorgeous colours. It's that rare time of the year when we get to step out of our monotone, everyday outfits and finally start wearing something a little more cheerful. This of course leads to pastels and other muted bright tones, perhaps mixed in with some more neutral ones if you don't feel brave enough. In my opinion, throw caution to the wind and go pastel crazy.

More Feral Than You
'More Feral Than You', from Apartmento magazine (Issue Six), photography by Paul Schiek. I love everything about this, the clothing, the surroundings and of course, the model. This kind of reminds me a run down house out in a country town, possibly somewhere near a beach. I've been to many places like this and I never get tired of their organised clutter.

Winter Snow
(via anywho)
This shoot is from the recent W Magazine and was created by Paolo Roversi. It honestly makes me want to be overseas, to the UK, the US or to Canada, just somewhere where it's snowing. Living in Sydney means that I haven't ever seen or touched snow before so it's definitely up there on my list of things to do. Whilst I'm at it, I wouldn't mind being adorned in one of these stunning gowns as well.
